The Levittown-Island Trees Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States Post 9592 is a vibrant and active Post that has served ALL Veterans, Active and Reserve Military and their Families and the Community since 1948. Located in the heart of Levittown, a community specifically built for returning World War II Veterans, at 55 Hickory Lane stands the Post where a Veteran can go and seek comradeship with other Veterans, get assistance regarding Veterans Benefits and Counseling, participate in many Post programs, watch a sporting event or head upstairs to our member’s lounge and relax with a good book, make use of our Wi-Fi or play video games. We pride ourselves in providing a smoke free, friendly and family type atmosphere where we believe in mission first, people always. Our membership consist of overseas combat Veterans from World War II through the current Global War on Terror. We also have an equally active Auxiliary, which consists of Husbands/Wives, Fathers and Mothers, Grandfathers/Grandmothers, Sons/Daughters and Bothers/Sisters of persons who were or are eligible for membership in the VFW.
