No Once Does More For Veterans

Commander's Corner

Commander Nicholas Laino

In June 2023 VFW 9592 honored the graduating high school students that were entering the military services from the Levittown-Island Trees School District.

Victor Che was one those young men. He went o Parris Island for basic training in the United States Marine Corps. He graduated boot camp a few days ago and tonight he stopped by to say hello. He happens to be a martial arts student with SVC Honig, and we welcomed Victor and his father to the post. We asked about his experiences and laughed and gave advice to him again when he leaves for MCT in Camp Geiger, NC. He will then head to COMM school in 29 Palms, CA.

Victor thanked us for all the advice we gave him before he went on to boot camp.

We busted his chops a bit and invited him back when he is home from COMM school.

As Commander, I ask you of my fellow comrades to congratulate this young Marine as he endeavors forward with his military career in the United States Marine Corps. Semper Fidelis Marine!

In Comradeship,

Nick Laino
