On Thursday July 9, 2026, Post Commander Kevin Honig and Auxiliary President Frances Inslee gathered with other Post and Auxiliary Officers and Committee Chairpersons to set the Post's event agenda for the upcoming 2026 - 2027 VFW Year.

The planning group identified events that are in keeping with the mission and purpose of the VFW and the traditions of the Post. Some of the events will be recognizable to many members, since they are conducted each year, while there are few that will be new to the Post members.

Each event has been added to the calendar, which is available on the Post's website.

The Post Commander and Auxiliary President want each member to check the calendar frequently to keep informed and to, when necessary, make arrangements to support these events.

The Post Commander and Auxiliary President would also like everyone to know that there are event suggestions that are still on the drawing board, so it is important to continuously review the website calendar and the announcement page.

Finally, the members who attended this planning session hope an informed membership will lead to a participating membership.
